A farming management approach called precision agriculture (PA) is focused on monitoring crop variability both within and between fields. The earliest theoretical studies on PA and its applications date back. Defining a decision support system (DSS) for whole-farm management with the aim of optimizing returns on inputs while protecting resources is the objective of precision agriculture research.
